  • Emacs Package Repositories

    Can I add package repositories such as macports or homebrew to emacs
    package manager?

    It doesn't, not directly, but I approved the message in hopes that
    someone here could suggest the newsgroup M.R.P. should use for the
    question.

    My server carries these groups with emacs in the name, but I've no idea
    which might be an appropriate place for the particular question:

    Not a Mac or emacs user, but a quick Google suggests that gnu.emacs.help
    is active and well-behaved so if it was me, I'd start there.
