• iPhone 15 : USB-C @ Lightning speeds (unless Pro).

Rumour roundup ... perusing various iPhone 15 rumours ...

The new iPhone base model won't have max USB-C speeds on the USB-C port
and will be limited to a 60Hz screen refresh rate. A new braided cable
will be included and it will be a generous 1.5m in length.

To get the higher (Thunderbolt 4 speeds), you will need to get a "Pro"
version. The Pro versions will also sport a 3nm processor which should
be both very fast and energy efficient.

And per one report, to get that TB 4 speed you will have to fork out an additional US$100 for the compatible cable - which will be a "shorty" of
0.5m (or 0.8m). (TB 4 cables from Apple are on the pricey side - so no surprise here).

Sept 12 is not far off, we'll see how these rumours hold up.
