Thanks. We have two original and two boosters. Do not have the Omicron booster which just came out. You need at least 2 weeks to build immunity which would not have happened before our cruise.
I am in contact with my doc. Too late for Paxlovid treatment but not monoclonal antibody IV push. They will get back to me to see if I am a candidate. I feel fine except for weakness. I could stay in bed all day but I am going stir crazy.
I am sure I have an omicron variant because the symptoms are mild.

Several people in my family and friends have had covid-19.
Except for the four-year old all were up to date on their
shots and boosters; the 4-year old was days away from when
she would have received her first shot. All recovered in
    about a week.

Get your bed rest when you feel you are tired,
chlll out and watch Netflix. Just stay away from others.

I will be 70 this Dec... I still have a lot left to give too. I eat Healthy and Exercise is the key! First thing after Oatmeal in the AM I walk a mile with my dog. It keeps me fit and is good for my dog too... I meet interesting people too
during our walk. Diet is important and not painful if you choose well what you consume in you body. Small portions and drink plenty of water are critical for keeping fit. :-)

I will be 70 in Feb. I just got my monoclonal antibody treatment at my doc's. IV push of 175 mg/2 cc Lilly bebtelovimab. Nurse had to observe me for 1 hour. Doc came in every 15 min. Had to be sure I had no reactions. I am lucky I have such
    a good doc.

How are you recovering from the trip. 8-days on the Mississippi River? Jesus your brave..
I can picture everyone bug bitten and scratching themselves raw like Tom Sawyer.

What do you do on the Mississippi?

We were inside with A/C. Nice weather outside. Stopped at St Louis, Hannibal, LaCrosse, Red Wing, others. https://www.cruisespecialists.com/blogs/paddlewheel-river-cruise-roundup/

I was about all packed up Thursday night to drive to Ottawa
for Thanksgiving weekend. Friday about 3am I knew I had
caught something, and would have to miss a 3rd Thanksgiving
with family. Took a self-test Saturday. It's COVID.

Bummer. See your doc within 5 days for Paxlovid or 7 days for
Monoclonal Antibody. MA really helped me. Supposed to have no rebound.

Didn't need either. Still somewhat tired, but more or less recovered.
Saw my doctor yesterday for appointment that was scheduled before
I got sick. I never ran a fever. have been back to taking my regular
    4-7 km walk each day.

Good to hear. Just got my flu shot and will get Omicron booster in Jan. That got pushed out to 90 days after my monoclonal antibody treatment.
