• SCOTUS gun decision goes further

From uncle_vito@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jul 1 20:25:17 2022
Not only a right to protection inside the home but a right for protection outside also.

2nd amendment says “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

"the Supreme Court held the amendment protects “the individual right to possess and carry weapons in case of confrontation,” and in McDonald v. City of Chicago (2010), that this right “is fully applicable to the States.”"

"confrontation can surely take place outside the home".

The forefathers we're afraid of the red coats, the British will return.
Today the US has the strongest military, Air force, Navy, Marines, in space, do you think these civilian owned pop guns make any difference in a military confrontation with another modern army?
    What a joke!

I do think it would make a difference. Look at Afghanistan and the "terrorists". They use IEDs and fired rifles from hidden and shielded positions. They went for 10 years before Biden finally surrendered.

    Yea.. Kinda creepy mindset.
WAY too many Guns in the hands of Joe Six Pack

Mother Nature is a very special gift. Using it for target practice is just wrong... Look it up. The wild life populatin is in a steep decline. When it is gone. It's gone. There is a site that measures the wildlife. It says we are loosing the
wildlife at an alarming rate. Nature need to work in concert to sustain a healthy planet. It is our responsibility to our children, and their children. The 'Well I will be dead so why do I care,' attitude offends me greatly. Please WISE up.

I watched TV as the USA ARMY retreated and skdaddled out. That place is my definition of Hell on Earth. Watching people holding on as the Jet took off only to fall to their death sadden me greatly.

Trump just handed it off to 'Smiling' Joe.
