Via Breitbart Immigration, Breitbart.COM/immigration, see Neil Munro
on whether Donald Trump regrets taking Jared Kushner's advice to

| GOP leaders and their donor-funded campaign groups mostly spotlight
| migration problems to help turn out GOP base voters, not to win more
| voters from the Democratic Party.
|
| The GOP donors do not want to win elections on immigration debates
| because then the party would be forced to push bills that reduce the
| migration inflows that benefit donors, employers, retailers, and
| landlords.
|
| So most of the GOP's TV adds on migration focus on crime, chaos,
| security, and threats to spike base voters -- and also sabotage any
| populist pitches to the growing number of voters who are worried
| about migration's impact on their pocketbooks.
Will Ron DeSantis receive permission from Miriam Adelson, Robert
Bigelow, Walter Buckley, Betsy DeVos, Ken Griffin, Julia Koch, Bernie
Marcus, Lachlan Murdoch, Thomas Peterffy, Bruce Rauner, Chris Reyes,
David Sacks and Steve Wynn to warn legacy American proles that Trump
will betray them with comprehensive immigration reform legislation
passed by Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell so long as they include
the magic words: "merit based"?

"If your only defense of Trump starts with "But DeSantis," you're
actually admitting that Trump is indefensible here and you've got
nothing else to offer as an argument except yelping about a guy who
is not presently running for president as *the* anti-establishment
candidate." - Pedro Gonzalez <URL:
