Carrie Jung for Market Place on whether Susie Wiles see signs in
Brad Parscale and Bill Stepien's polling for Donald Trump 2016 and
2020 on why legacy American moms and dads won't let their sons and
daughters grow up to be school teachers outside Boston: <URL:https://www.marketplace.org/2023/05/08/why-a-massachusetts-school-district-is-recruiting-teachers-from-brazil/>
    | Across the U.S., many school districts use the J-1 visa system to
    | recruit foreign teachers. But that program has a five-year time
    | limit. If the visa holder wants to come back to work in the United
    | States, they have to return to their home country for two years
    | before they can reapply. Framingham's program is for H-1B visas,
    | which can be granted for up to six years and opens the door for a
    | green card application, but they're harder to get.

Does Wiles worry that Ken Griffin and Lachlan Murdoch will allow
Ron DeSantis to outflank Trump from the right on the National
Question by using their bullhorn to stump for an immigration
moratorium as the solution to Americans' education challenges?

"Trump insults people. It's one reason why he's so effective. The
DeSantis slight wasn't surprising or even that bad. But the whole
"DeSantis is talking with McCarthy and is therefore disloyal to
Trump" angle is complicated by the fact Trump is the reason McCarthy
is still around. https://t.co/u1l8X34vMB" - Pedro Gonzalez <URL:https://twitter.com/emeriticus/status/1589270021200842753>
