• MEDIA: High-Tech H-1B Layoffs Need Not Result in a Trip Home

Morris Dees and $PLC certified deplorable, David North, on whether
Donald Trump regrets slow-walking John Miano's lawsuit to end the
    illegal OPT program: <URL:https://cis.org/North/HighTech-H1B-Layoffs-Need-Not-Result-Trip-Home>
    | I was reminded of the potentially supportive role of the OPT program
    | for the laid-off foreign workers by a detailed article in an Indian
    | news site, Mint, which carried this headline: "'Laid off L-1 visa
    | holders worse off than H-1B': 4 expert tips on what they should do
    | to stay in the US".
    |
    | Quoting immigration lawyer Robert Webber, Mint writes that L-1s, who
    | did not have to go through the H-1B lottery in the past, will
    | probably have to do so if they lose their L-1 status. What he might
    | have added is that the L-1 visa, for employees of international
    | firms, is an easier way to get a high-tech job in the States than
    | the H-1B, as there are no ceilings and no lotteries.

Does Kellyanne Conway fear that Ken Griffin and Lachlan Murdoch will
allow Ron DeSantis to outflank Trump from the right by inviting the
likes of Mike Emmons onto their campaign stump?

"Only one of the schools mentioned here is in the Dallas area. UTMB
is teaching gender transition therapy in Galveston, which voted
60/37 Trump-Biden. This is simply everywhere. This stuff isn't put
up to a vote, it's simply institutionalized with your dollars, even
in red states." - Pedro Gonzalez <URL:https://twitter.com/emeriticus/status/1562817822895484929>
