    World Deaths from Covid-19 & 1918 Flu

Total Covid-19 Deaths: 5 million, which
    is 6.33/100ths of 1% of 7,897,106,000
which is the world population when I
began writing this post, which is 1 of
    every 1,579.4212 people.

Total 1918 Flu Deaths: 50 million, which
was 20% of world population which was
    250 million in 1918.
    - - -

    - - -
    U.S. Deaths from Covid-19 & 1918 Flu

    U.S. Covid-19 Deaths: 700,000 which is
    2/10ths of 1% of 333,456,000 which is
the U.S. population when I began writing
this post, & that is 1 of every 476.3657
    Americans.

    U.S. 1918 Flu Deaths: 675,000, which was
    6.4/10ths of 1% of U.S. population which
    was 105 million in 1918.

    Questions:

Why is the U.S. death rate from Covid-19
so much higher than the world death rate
    from Covid-19?

    My guesses:

    1) Much of the world is impoverished with
far less in the way of people traveling &
    mixing with others.

    2) U.S. proclivity for group gatherings (such
as the NFL currently having full attendance
allowed in their stadiums) is far higher than
it is in most of the world.

    3) Communist-controlled countries, China &
Russia the most populous, have dictatorial
control & dubious (unreliable) reporting of
Covid-19 incidence & deaths, highly suspi-
cious, but also that dictatorial control makes
following facemask edicts much higher than
    it is in the U.S.

    4) Per the following, the U.S. Covid-19 death
rate is the 20th-highest in the world (on list
of Covid-19 death rates by country). World
average is 608 deaths per million, with

    o 88 countries > than 608,
    o 106 countries < 608.

Russia is 46th on the following list, & China
is an incredibly low 184th on the following
list, which is highly unlikely, but that's what
    they're claiming. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_pandemic_death_rates_by_country

I found a website with dramatically different
stats about the 1918 Flu pandemic than were
included in the original post in this thread:

Estimates suggest that the world population

See above for different estimates on 1918
Flu deaths & an estimated world population
of 1.8 billion, far higher than the 250 million
mentioned above. I'm fairly confident that
that 250 million figure was a mistake.
