• sound cards locked, No Host

From Thomas George@21:1/5 to All on Mon Nov 6 16:40:01 2023
    Just upgraded to Bookworm

    no sound.

alsactl says sound cards locked. There is a lock directory in var/lib/alsa/asound-state

mpv song.ogg fails with message No Host

There may be solutions in the debian-user archives. I am slowly reading
these in search of a solution.

    Any help?

    Tom George
