If you choose the word 'undgå' then you must add -et like this:
'undgået'. But you can also use the word 'undladt' since it means 'omitted/refrained'. I think this is the most correct word to use.
So 'undladt' is the best translation for 'dodged' in this case.

But here we are searching for a translation of the word "dodge", in the
sense of avoid something, as in "dodging a bullet".
The English [meaning] is the first one of the transitive version of the verb:
