Hello!26pg%3D2380057%26algv%3DRecentlyViewedItemsV2%26brand%3DMarkenlos&_trksid=p2380057.c101524.m146925&_trkparms=pageci%3A151ac8f8-c98a-11ed-9ae2-06cdc51b896c%7Cparentrq%3A0ef3574a1870a9bd50e62d70fffec404%7Ciid%3A1
I've been trying to get Openmediavault ( built on Debian ) to run on a ThinClient Dell Wyse 7010 for a few days now.
Unfortunately, my external WD-Elements ( 4TB and 8TB ) hard drives are
not recognized.
These hard drives and the hub have already served well on my Dell
Optiplex 360, running Linux Manjaro.
So I don't know why it doesn't work on the ThinClient Dell Wyse 7010.
The only idea is that Debian does not recognize the hub because it does
not have the appropriate drivers.
Now I would be interested in how to get this hub working again, or a
hint which hub works with Debian.
I would also like to have more ports.
Many thanks in advance.

Apparently there is no solution to this - or no one cares. The user support list is debain-user@
That is a great pity.
Does no one use a hub with multiple external hard drives and has problems with them being recognized?
The user support list is debain-user@

Thanks for the tip.
I will ask the question again on linux.debian.user.german.
But one question remains unanswered.
Why are the disks recognized under Manjaro and under Debian they make problems?
Please move the question to the proper list, as it has better chances
of being answered:-) This mailing list serves other purposes.
No problem.
I already moved the part with the hub alternative to linux.debian.user.german.
But the part with the question why Debian does not recognize the hub, although Manjaro does, should interest the Debian developers.
Therefore I would also like to have an answer, if someone knows it.
Is Debian not able to detect the hub or is there a way to install it and if so how?

It will surely interest Debian developers -- but this is not the right
list to ask. Please ask in one of the user support lists (where Debian developers will surely answer to your question). Your question is not
about Debian development (which is the purpose of this list), but
about Debian usage.

Ok, which list would you recommend ( I rarely deal with Debian ).
