    I workarround by doing in my script in two steps:
    distro-info --$(distro-info --alias=trixie) -r

    --alias was not developed to be combined with -c/-r/-f. So either
    distro-info should reject this parameter combination or change the
    behaviour to what you wanted to do.

    Yes that is the bug, with additionnally a documentation bug.
