I have a machine loaded with Windows XP, 7, AND 10, in a triple boot configuration.
I don't remember HOW I managed to get it to triple boot
(it might have been the instructions here: http://www.pagestart.com/win7heptaboot01.html
and there is a copy of the EasyBCD installer on the computer).
Anyhow, XP still works OK, but Windows 10 and 7 have gotten really slow.
I ran virus checkers (the built in Defender and Malwarebytes Antimalware, etc.) which found nothing, but I think they are hosed.
I thought I backed up the whole system to an image with Clonezilla, but the backup files are god knows where.
Rather than wipe the whole thing out and start over (which would take time and mean finding spare disk space to backup all the data files to),
I think I need to do some kind of factory reset for Win 7 and 10, where any device driver files and data files are preserved (and of course the XP installation is untouched and the triple boot still works).
Has anyone done anything like this, and if so, how?
I'm not the most savvy at system admin tasks, but I can follow basic instructions...
Any help appreciated.
