Since I was a little boy back in brazil, UNIX was my life. I had the opportunity to play around with one of the first versions of UNIX from AT&T.

I am also an ethusiastic vintage computer collector. A little bit of everything.

Now I think it is time to have some of my old Apple computers running some sort of UNIX flavour. And what could better than the Apple flavor? On this case, A/UX.

I managed to find some A/UX images around the Internet. Version 1, 2, and 3. Documentation I managed to find at http://bitsavers.informatik.uni-stuttgart.de/pdf/apple/mac/a_ux/aux_2.0/

My first qustion is about how A/UX deal with the SCSI devices. Finding those old 50-pin SCSI HDDs is almost impossible. My best option is to use a connector adapter for SCSI 68-pin to SCSI 50/pin. I have not find any problems with it. My old Macs, when
the case size allows, are using 36GB or 72GB HDDs. Seems to work very well with MacOS. And what about A/UX? Is anyone tried to use thos adapters with A/UX?
