Rumours say an internally-updated 24" iMac with a new stand design
(probably the way it connects inside the case), but looks the same as
the current model and has the same colours.

A 32" iMac is rumouredly due in late 2024.

If you want any other size display with a desktop Mac, you'll have to
get a Mac mini or Mac Studio and a separate screen.

I have a 27" as my main display and find I "use" the left 2/3 mostly, so
24" would not be an issue. Further I would use my Samsung 27" as a
"side" and possibly another 24" as a "side". Lopsided setup I guess.

    To be seen.

Others believe the iMac might only get an M2 update. It would have to
be a high end M2 at reasonable price for me to go that route.

That would entail waiting for those machines to catch up to the M3.

I now, I've gone that route before with a Pro, but I found it besides
    expensive too much hassle.
