• Is it me or sometimes macOS updates' first attempts fail?

    Hello,

Is it me or sometimes macOS updates' first attempts fail? Like today and previous updates (e.g., Big Sur v11.7.9). I have to redownload the huge
update, prepare, install/upgrade, etc. They take so long in this 2020
13" Intel MBP with its 2 TB SSD. :(

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

I've found that I sometimes run into this issue if I try to install
updates with a VPN running. Turing off the VPN resolves the issue.

A crappy network connection can do that.
