I never liked the little red nub as a pointing device.

I never liked the little red nub as a pointing device.

I didn’t use it much; the touchpad wasn’t that great either; think I’d nudge
around with the nub and then use the touchpad clickers, which was okay
for when one couldn’t break out a mouse, such as on an airline flight.

Speaking of airlines, been developing some plans for ‘23. Got the Brac slotted in; debating between Ireland vs Japan. Plus maybe also thinking
about maybe Canadian Rockies, as the prior time we were there was a
year with heavy forest fires, so not great landscape views…have to try to remember what airport we flew into.

Well for the Canadian Rockies, you'd probably want to fly into Calgary.
Calgary to Banff is only about a 90 minute drive.

Yeah, I followed-up with some online searches and found that its not really all
that practical of drive from Vancouver vs flying into Calgary instead, although
lower ticket prices could be a factor. Might depend on how many "PQP"s I will need before the end of year on United.

    Yeah...

As great as it would be to raise a glass of something with you, if your
aim is for the Canadian Rockies, Vancouver means nine and a half hours
    of driving.

And I think it highly unlikely that Vancouver would be much cheaper to
fly into than Calgary, but you never know with the vagaries of airline
    fares.
