    Oh, nuggets. I wanted to make the announcement! ;-)

    Sadly, not a sequel to the original 1993 Microprose strategy game
    (called "Fields of Glory", with an s), which - while not great - was
    quite pretty for its time. This is a follow-up to a Slitherine, Ltd.
    title and focused on the ancient world instead of the Napoleonic era.
    Still, prettiness seems to be its most redeeming grace.

    Well, it's free, and you know my policy on free games. ;-)

    But it's the "good" kind of DLC (enhancement/expansion) and I will
    probably not get bored/taken enough with the base game to bite.

    But Slitherine *does* bite, so watch out.

    Already have it but a nice spot anyway. If you like TT Wargames then
    it's almost a must buy (or in this case download). For the DLC it may
    look it's ripping you off but it's the type of DLC that, in my opinion,
    is a positive. There's more than enough content in the base game to keep
    people happy and the developer has pretty much said what you're really
    paying for is the resources required to create the graphical assets for
    new armies in different eras.

    The downside is it's basically a dead game now as Field of Glory:
    Medieval is their active project.
