    Yep, it is getting huge....

Thanks for te link to the Harddrive / Floopy rails @Ctsales on Ebay.
I have found 4 pieces in one of my boxes - I have used a set for the cdrom drive and the 1.2mb Floppy drive.

the 1.2mb floppy drive is not connected at the moment - I will need a floppy controller with a standart 34 pin connector...
    have had a look at this one.: https://ardent-tool.com/floppy/5_25_Floppy_Adapter.html ( FRU P/N 15F7996 )
there are some for sale in Italy..https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155527262119?hash=item243625afa7:g:LaEAAOSwoKxkS~FO

I was lucky to find some different front bezels, they are not the 100 % right ones,
but it still looks better ( thank god for double side tape ) !!. Cleaned the case outside yesterday - :-)

I had the machine running for for hours now, and there have been no problems - Have only installed Dos right now, but think I will try winslows95 - it should work with 32 meg ram.

I have some photos from the Set and view SCSI drivers, here you can see the different "drives" on the Scsi2sd,
The Scsi2sd adapter is version 6.0 - and I am using the latest software version.

I have put some more Danish picxxx in the Goople Drive.: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1dBXmlRLZ_GIJYHU9oYTAwM-BDjwcsVcz?usp=sharing

P.S have you seen this one before...MCA IDE controller with 2 ide ports....the mcaide bootable
they had 6 in stock yesterday... https://zzxio.com/product/mcide/

Bye they way, my legs are fine now :-)

Maybe... My guess is the MCIDE will boot first. Perhaps with the
enhanced complex BIOS and "Search IML" you might be able to bypass the
old complex BIOS need for ID6 on Slot 1

You are correct, the 1.2MB drive uses the clone pinout with a separate 4
pin power connector, not the PS/2 power / signal cable.

Win98SE would be a decent choice as well.

    W95 or W98

    Thanks for the info -

I will download the drivers in the weekend, and then I will try to install win98SE - hope it works.
I will put he Win98se install files and the drivers on another Scsi hdd - then run the installation from that one
see how it goes, when installing on the Scsi2sd...- could also install win98se on a Scsi disk and use scsi2sd
for programs / files - maybe it is better ??

I have pondered... I wonder how/if we could use SCSI2SD as the W98SE
temp drive... somehow, I >think< it has to be set as a "fixed" or non-removeable drive.

Maybe I am wrong about the SD performance, can it keep up with the
writes needed for a temp drive? Maybe programs/OS on the SD, to keep R/W
    down, and temp drive C:?

MAJ Tom would know, if and when he comes in range again...

    Earth below us
    Drifting, falling
    Floating weightless
    Calling, calling home

    Second stage is cut
    We're now in orbit
    Stabilizers up
    Running perfect
    Starting to collect
    Requested data
    "What will it affect
    When all is done?"
    Thinks Major Tom
