    Today, set a new Kill filter. Forte Agent lets me set up a filter:
    Subject:{/?/?/?/?}
    which successfully does detect today's garbage.

    I don't know if that detects 4 consecutive '?' or any presence of
    four of them. For the time being, I set Action to 'Mark as Read'
    instead of immediately deleting.

    Various accounts at gmail are identified as source of every
    message. I don't know how to protest there, or if that would
    be effective. New gmail accounts apparently are easy to get.

    Correction needed - that filter caught every post.
    All recent messages are spam, but a few of them have a
    single other commercial spammer, with ordinary English test.
