Time Travel towards the future might also be possible.

Have the AI generate the future ! ;)

    Bye for now,

The idea for the implementation of a time travel shooter for multi player:

The server stores the game state for the last 30 seconds. For example the server runs at 60 frames per second x 30 = 1800 game states.

There are a number of power ups in the game:

    1. Single Person Time Travel Power Up.
    2. Team Time Travel Power Up.
    3. All Time Travel Power Up. (Super Time Travel Power Up).

    Case 1:
The player is teleported back to it's last 1800 frames in quick succession in a backward motion, perhaps with special effects.

    Case 2:
The entire team is teleported back to it's last 1800 frames in quick sucession in a backward motion, perhaps with special effects.

    Case 3:
All items in the world include players are back tracked and move backwards in time. Explosions, missiles, bullits, body parts, particles/blood/gore, players.

For extra/additional fun the time travel power ups could include different time travel periods, so you don't know exactly where you will end up in time.

This idea could give players extra gameplay options:

Re-play the last 30 seconds again, but this time differently.

Perhaps take revenge on somebody that killed you, or perhaps avoid the players that want to take revenge on you ! ;) =D

Or try and not hit the mountain or another plane/helichopter.

The time travel power-ups could also active by itself right before the player dies.

Another idea could be to allow each player to have one time travel power up at the start of each new round, so that it can activate it whenever it wishes =D

    Bye for now,
    Skybuck.
