White_dune version 0.99pl1515 (stable) has been released.
It is available from
http://wdune.ourproject.org/
white_dune is a cross plattform graphical VRML97/X3D
editor, a simple NURBS/Superformula 3D modeller, a
animation tool, and a VRML97/X3DV commandline compiler.
It is available as source, for Micro$oft Windows 7/10 x64,
Macosx/X11 El Captian, Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Linux,
Debian 9 Linux, Fedora 29 Linux, Arch Linux 241,
FreeBSD 12.0 and it can be compiled for other UNIX/Linux.
This program is a bit like blender, but it is much simpler,
especially if you use the "-4kids" option.
White_dune allows you to convert X3D animation data into a OpenGL
C++ progrom including NURBS, superformula, particle source
and human animations data.
A video of a compiled OpenGL example is available here:
http://wdune.ourproject.org/examples/white_dune_opengl_example.html
Currently the complied OpenGL example uses GLUT, but white_dune only
exports the scene graph data as C++. So you can modify the used
rendering program to support other libraries or other 3D APIs.
