The much-heralded FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s South Florida compound three months ago was a literal bust — for the feds.
As federal law enforcement officials tell it, Trump’s stash of classified materials at Mar-a-Lago was nothing more than souvenirs.
Excerpts of a report by The Washington Post noted, “Federal agents and prosecutors have come to believe former president Donald Trump’s motive for allegedly taking and keeping classified documents was largely his ego and a desire to hold on to the
materials as trophies or mementos, according to people familiar with the matter.”
Recall that liberals branded Trump a traitor, asserting he was holding nuclear secrets that he could sell to our enemies.
Yet, that was a lie, and the truth was something we all know: It was little more than Trump being Trump.
The Post added that the review of Trump’s document cache “has not found any apparent business advantage to the types of classified information in Trump’s possession, these people said.”
