    Does anyone remember the Rifts Tabletop RPG? Have you played it? Would you be interested in a campaign?

    It does ring a bell. I have not played it.

    Nowadays I am more into board games than RPG games because building up a dedicated
    gaming group is getting hard.

    Yes it is Haven't played in years. I'm thinking about designing a door game around the game concept. I have a good campaign in mind. Was feeling out the crowd to see if people would be interested.

    |15Been a rifts/tabletop RPG GM going on 30 years. We jumped ship for the SWADE system after the pandemic when we had to move our game nights online - there is no good VTT support for palladium because Kevin S. is stuck in 1990. If they ever make a decent VTT module I would go back to the system in a heartbeat.

    Anyways my group is on summer hiatus for now, and we decided to try something new so in the fall we will be playing 'Star Trek adventures' but when we tire of that we will probably go back to one of our rifts settings.

    If you're interested in seeing a fully functional rifts VTT implementation with the SWADE system poke me privately and i can give you the URL and login, if you're still looking for a table in the fall look me up. I only have one night a week I can devote to gaming so I can't join another game, but I can point you at some resources/discords where you can find active palladium people.

    Well I bring it all up because I'm thinking on designing a door game around the idea. I'll take a few liberties with how it all runs but I have an awesome campaign designed. Trying to decide if I should try to make it more mud like or on rails. Rewriting my AnsiTV Mod now to add additional functionality and learn a bit more about Python. I'm going to need a ton of art once I get to the game coding. :D

    A RIFTS Door game?????? Sounds good. Would you be writting it in like Java or Python so it would be usable regardless of what OS the sysop is running?

    I only know python. I'm very new to it so cutting my teeth on making that mode really helped. I will need a ton of art once its done because I suck at that part of it. But I think once people see how fun rifts can be it shouldn't be too hard to get some of the artists to make art.
