    I tossed up a quick Mystic BBS to host the prealphas while Mystic BBS main website is down.

    I also have this set up from last time and will update files there soon.

    All done. Have added A42 final and the latest pre-alpha for A43.

    The features page needs a little extra updating but will do that later.

    Is it OK to openly feature the pre-alphas or would you prefer me to just drop them into a 'pre' folder that folks can FTP from as per the authoritative
    site?

    Relaxed either way but for now I have spotlighted them in HTML as well as A42 .. just lemme know and I'll adjust things as required :)

    I am not really sure. What do you think? The pre-alphas can sometimes be pretty "cutting edge" with broken things in them, so I sort of intentionally make people go out of their way to get them.

    I don't mind either way, but it might be tough to keep the prealphas up to date since I release them pretty frequently.

    I think I will leave them up until the main site is restored then hide them.. and keep the mystic.bbs.nz site as a mirror of the latest official release..

    That's probably the better way. I did have some pre-alphas on the site
    before, but hidden so you had to know the directory to pull them down from
    much like the main site does.. I might try to do that also but I agree
    keeping up with the releases would be an effort :)

    Thank you for the offer. We'll see what happens with mysticbbs.com first, if it becomes a reoccurring problem then I will worry about different solutions.

    For now I am just going to wait until the first of the month and go from
    there.

    I don't know when I will work on the HTML server again, but it does do more than the default installation shows.

    If I end up having to host mysticbbs.com on a VPS because of the bandwidth, then that will probably be what finally causes me to do more work on the web integration.

    Or if Grymmjack shows up and wants to work on it with me, that'd probably
    make me work on it again too lol

    There are directories that have to be made, configuration files, templates, and so on so its something that I would have to put together. There isn't enough functionality to make it worth it though until I decide I want to do more with it.

    The web server itself isn't anywhere close to being finished either so it all needs a lot of work.

    i got the templates done here when your ready hehehe i am having fun with it as i have it running the mpl to simulate cgi-bin. it's not 100% perfect but
    its getting there. ;)
