Silly question, how do you sort files in a file base?
I think you'll have to run something ./mutil mutil.ini and make sure that mutil.ini has FileSort = true set in it (and that the [FileSort] stanza has sorting options set as desired).
:) Thanks. Apparently I had a nightly script doing this.
Man, I've been out of the scene to long.

You're very welcome! Sounds good!
So I've adjusted this to sort on file dates and it doesn't work. I kick off mutil and I see it running file sort, but it never actually sorts it?
Hmm, try enabling PackFileBases as well to see if that helps. If not, it could be a bug in A47, and you might want to switch to the latest A48 (and/or file a bug report to g00r00 in the FidoNet MYSTIC echo).

You use the 'mutil' program, and an .ini file with the 'FileSort' option set to 'true'. Be sure to scroll down the .ini and set the 'FileSort' section to the options you like. Theres another option, 'PackFileBases', that you can use if you want mutil to delete files that are no longer present.
