Curious if I used a secure password already using pwgen -y 20 1 in linux and someone upgraded from A39 to A40 how is it handled? So far 2 systems that I call I had not been able to login using the password I stored.
example output of pwgen -y 20 1:
Eofeeth_u<eG6Ig9ne}r
Now I tried my current password on Avon's system after he upgraded and was unable to use and he had to reset to something else then was able to set to
the secure password using pwgen -y 20 1 like above and able to use the
password going forward.
Now a second system I called upgraded to A40 from A39 and I am facing the
same issue where my current password will not work possibly due to the length and combination that I had used.
My thought was that if someone used such a password before it is not getting translated or passed to the new system properly?
I know not many folks do this but I enjoy security and knowing my password
will never just be guessed. =D
Cheers/Thank you!
