When did you upgrade? If you downloaded the version before 12/11 or something then it probably didn't work.

I upgraded from A39 recently and had this same problem. To fix it, I
went into the user editor and reset/recreated my password and was able
to log back in again. I seem to recall someone else having to do that,

I use NetRunner daily and one thing that I would like to see is an added field for a second password. Currently all I can send is login name and password, but having a second password field to be sent would be convenient like for logging into synchronet and wwiv and any other bbs package which requires a system login.

I am not sure I understand what you are asking for here. Why would you need to define two passwords per BBS?

When logging into a Synchronet BBS as the sysop, you need to supply the 'system password' in addition to the password for your user account.
The system password prompt comes immediately after the user's password
is entered correctly. (This can vary from one system to another
depending on customizations to the login process.)

I run both and when I login as the sysop it asks me for the second password. If you have SyncTerm handy open up on and you will see where
you can store your system password. So when I press Alt-L it not only sends in my user name and user password but also sends the system password.
NetRunner has macros and a scripting language, so its possible to script it but I am still not understanding what or why I would need to change anything in NetRunner. RLOGIN and SSH won't support it either.
Use the F keys then to send your BBS system's password if you don't want to type it.

I think he's after something for telnet that will send:
username\r\n
password\r\n
system password\r\n
Yep I understand. You can set up the F keys to send whatever you want in NetRunner already. Or you could write a script, whatever works. My feelings are that most people aren't going to have a lot of systems
where they need to enter a sysop password on login, so the existing
macro system should be fine.
Still a lot of work to do to get it to where I want it to be. I've neglected the crap out of NetRunner the past couple of years!
Any update coming to NetRunner w/ SSH support in the foreseeable future?
If you are interested in the Linux versions or macOS let me know and I
can try to put them there too.

I'd try out the MAC version if you make it :)
I've uploaded in the prerelease area some test versions of NetRunner for Windows.
This version includes IPv4/IPv6 and RLOGIN/SSH.
Linux and OSX are not ready yet there is still a crash I cannot seem to resolve.

I am loving this so much and already started using it! Can I make one request and its low priority but would help when editing a field allow
us to paste into the field? =D
He has them in the pre-alpha folder on the mystic website. mysticbbs.com/downloads/prealpha/

Ahh yes, I didn't know that wasn't working. I will look into seeing if
I can quickly add that in. I can imagine for you that would be pretty helpful since you generate those passwords!
