Anyone else running W32/A40 (see tearline) and getting multiple (several an hour) crashes with error 216?

are you running?

Same as you :) Time stamp 19:31:30
Same as you :) Time stamp 19:31:30and win 32 ? I can't tell when I look at your tear line.
216 is a locked file from memory..
Yes, well sort of, I am running v1.12 A40 under Win 7 Pro 32-bit in an Oracle VBox which runs under Win 7 Pro 64-bit {chuckle}. FYI, I need the 32-bit environment for my development work. I re-ran my Mystic site
update and it found 2 new files: v1.10 A40 dated Dec 9th 2018 early Am, and v1.12 from Dec 7th late Pm (19:31:30). I re-installed v1.12 A40 and the crashes have slowed to
once or twice every 3-4 hours, or, whatever is causing the crash changed frequency itself.
And yes, the above mentioned v1.10 (NOT v1.12) is from Dec 9th 2018 in
the Am ... strange though :)

Hi All,

I came home to one 216 crash (the first one since updating) and have
since updated to Mystic BBS v1.12 A40 compiled 2018/12/10 00:12:47 for win32

If you have the latest 12/10 version from I think 7am or so, it should create .mem files if you have a 216 crash (mystic.mem and mis.mem) and
you can send those to me so I can address the problem. Or post it here whatever works.

Haven't seen that yet. I'm running the Linux 64bit version here.
I did have an issue where Mystic wouldn't let me log into the system. I had to go into the user editor and reset my password, then it worked

Usually, g00r00 will only compile the pre-releases for Windows and
Linux. I guess to compile for RPi takes way too long...
Its just a big process and I need to refine it. I am going to try to
see if I can get my Linux dev machines to compile for the Pi. Its not impossible but seems like a pain in the ass. If I can do that, then
every prealpha will have a Pi version.
One way I've been successful with compiling stuff for the Pi is running Raspbian in QEMU. You then have the power and I/O of your server and the arm architecture to build the Pi packages. I found that to be a real
good dev scenario as well as it's all enclosed and easy to snapshot, backup, etc.

Thank you for this. I had not through about trying an ARM emulator.
Are their Raspbian images that I can download for QEMU already or would I need to build this on my own? I suppose I can just Google a bit and see what I can find.
That will still possibly bring up the issue of getting the files from
the Pi to my main development system, but worst case scenario I'll just set it up to FTP the files directly to mysticbbs.com.
