    From bcw142@21:1/145.2 to g00r00 on Thu Dec 14 18:06:30 2017
    Just upgraded my old version of Mystic (A35) that wasn't working well. I've noticed two things:
    1. the ./mystic -ver output is:
    pi@dmz1:/mystic $ y Pi/32

    Compiled 2017/12/13 20:55:39
    So the first line is getting over written by the prompt by default on the Pi. 2. the nodelist doesn't work at all from what I'm seeing (might not be the
    same for you, but let's figure out why). I have a nodelist.ini:
    ; maint.ini for Mystic Pi BBS bcw142.zapto.org
    ; from omutil.ini (Original mutil.ini)
    ;
    ; Purge, pack & merge nodelists
    ;
    [General]

    MergeNodeLists = true

    logfile=mutil.log
    loglevel=3
    maxlogfiles = 3
    maxlogsize = 1000

    That's it. I deleted /mystic/data/nodelist.txt then run it with:
    ./mutil nodelist.ini

    Just checked my Linux/64 x86 system and got the same results: bcw@lenotv2:/mystic$

    Compiled 2017/12/13 18:07:33

    bcw@lenotv2:/mystic$ ./mutil nodelist.ini

    mutil seems to run OK, just no results. The log looked OK, but no file was created at all. Do you have any suggestions on what to try next?

    You cannot have multiple entries of the same nodelist unless you want duplicate entries/strange results (ie fsxnet, retronet). And you cannot wildcard the nodelist file name either (ie the DNET like).

    nodefile=/mystic/files/fsx_node/fsxnet
    nodefile=/mystic/files/rtn_nodelist/retronet
    nodefile=/mystic/files/fsx_nets/CYBERNET
    nodefile=/mystic/files/fsx_nets/HAPPYNET
    nodefile=/mystic/files/fsx_nets/VKRADIO

    This above is more like what it should look like. You'll have to add whatever that DNET entry is back in.

    bcw@lenotv2:/mystic$ ls data/node*
    data/nodeap.dat data/nodelist2016-09-20.ods data/nodelist.bbi
    (as before I deleted the old nodelist.txt before starting)

    All of the files that are shown there are NOT files Mystic uses. You should never touch any files in the data folder, and never put any other files in it or point any other software at it.

    Fix up that configuration and then show the unedited log file from mutil's merge run with loglevel=3 on and lets go from there. If you provide any LS listings, please use "ls -la" so that we can see the ownerships.
