  • missing chars in input fields

    if you have utf-8, nothing is visible when you write in the input field as subject, all utf8 characters are invisible

    If I try to send a netmail and type in a subject, the text starts flashing for me. That's different.

    what I mean is that if you write in any input field, such as subject, with utf8. for example "abcåäödefé", only "abcdef" is visible, all hichars are missing. logged in and tried on vert too, but same thing there.

    This is due to a recent change in SBBS where all input is, by default, auto-translated to CP437.

    Since message subjects *can* be UTF-8, I'll commit an exception for them. But for most other string input in the BBS, it's still true that CP437 is what is expected and not all UNICODE characters can be represented in CP437.
