Apparently something has gone wrong here, several file areas have disappeared in scfg, and gone in file.ini but visible in the ftp
server. delete one and one and re-enter them and it seems to work again.

You also asked about ftpalias.cfg earlier. Perhaps you added a bunch of unnecessary aliases?

filelist.rar bbs://TEXT-FILER/Fillista/FileList.rar

filelist.rar bbs://TEXT-FILER/Fillista/FileList.rar
incoming bbs://uploads/incoming/ Incoming Files
Are you sure those virtual paths are correct?

filelist.rar bbs://TEXT-FILER/Fillista/FileList.rar
incoming bbs://uploads/incoming/ Incoming Files
Are you sure those virtual paths are correct?
no, but it's the only way to write without ftp giving an error message: <Max> !Invalid virtual path:bbs://TEXT-FILER/Fillist/FileList.rar
direct path doesn't work either:
filelis2.rar S:/Files/Text/FileList.rar
I'm talking abouit "TEXT-FILER" is that a valid file library short name? I suspect not. Is "Fillist" a value directory code suffix?
I suspect not. The problem is you're not using the correct values in your virtual path.
!Invalid virtual path:bbs://TEXT-FILER/LISTA/FileList.rarBut i see it working to download file, but i cant find link for it.
Does the file "S:/Files/Text/FileList.rar" actually exist? Does the FTP server give you an error message when someone attempts to
download "/filelis2.rar"? --
