  • Random Characters on Web Telnet

    fTelnet in the web interface comes up and asks for the username and no matter what is typed (even the enter key), random characters are displayed.
    Everything works fine with my telnet client. Is something set wrong?

    Connecting via a public proxy works fine, so that seems to indicate an issue with your websocketservice.js file.

    Is this a fresh install that didn't work out of the box? Or was it working for some time, and you made recent changes (ie updated to latest git version)? If there were recent changes, what were they?

    Also, whether it's fresh install or upgrade, try replacing your websocketservice.js with these older versions to see if either of them work:

    Paste the settings from your widget maybe?
