I'm sure someone else has probably had this error at some time or another, so I'm hoping someone has an answer. In my event log, every time I send a netmail (usually to my host) as soon as I enter the message it attempts to send and I always get a message: BINKPOLL BinkP got fatal error 'Bad password' from remote:
I have gone through my setup several times and cannot figure ut where the issue is. When BINKPOLL runs at a scheduled time, the message goes out like it is supposed to. So where is the error that is causing it not to go out when I enter it?

Sounds like you have a wrong session password configured somewhere.

This seems to be the case, but why would binkpoll succeed but not binkout?
Re: Event log errorThe only linked node I have set up is with Al (1:153/757), so there really shouldn't be a problem there

The BinkPoll event will attempt to connect to all the linked-nodes you have configured in your sbbsecho.ini with
BinkPoll=true while the BinkOut event will only connect to nodes where there is pending outbound files for it/them.
