I'm getting this error when executing "jsexec sbbslist.js verify"
to verify my BBS.

ActiveUser-UDP ERROR 13 re-binding socket to port 11 failed, using user
port: Permission denied

does anyone know what's wrong?

Don't worry, I removed other BBS but mine from the list. So it's only verifing one.

I can't understant why systat/udp is working and even the cvs.synchro.net/scanmyports.ssjs scan is dectecting it but it's not appearing in sbbslist (and verify command as well). ok... I guess that error is why I'm running the command in the same environment as the BBS ... but I still don't undestand what is wrong with my settings...

I can't understant why systat/udp is working and even the cvs.synchro.net/scanmyports.ssjs scan is dectecting it but it's not appearing in sbbslist (and verify command as well). ok... scanmyports.ssjs is the proper way to test your services, not running 'sbbslist.js verify'.

I am having a similar issue; I check scanmyports.ssjs, receive a 'succsess' for systat but my board never gets added to the sbbsimsg for inter-bbs messaging.

The solution is definitely not to run 'sbbslist.js verify' however.

scanmyports.ssjs can be run from vert or cvs. Have you tried both? The nightly list verification actually runs from vert (not cvs).

Yes, I tried scanmyports.ssjs on both vert and cvs and alleycat is verified by synchro.net/sbbslist.html nightly. Not sure what I broke on my end so sbbsimsg doesn't get populated with alleycat info :/ oh well, not a priority, just an FYI

Same here... I tried vert and cvs and both are detecting systat tcp
and udp (also binkp, finger, irc, nnmp, rlogin, etc..) but it's not in
my json info.

I also have ssh on port 2322 and (access to) Fidonet network but don't
know how include them on sbbslist.

Yeah, it is odd. I just did a manual scan from vert and your system responded on systat/UDP, but it doesn't seem to during the nightly scan from sbbslist. I can manually force your system into the imsg list, if you care, and then we see if it works. I added it to the list here on Vertrauen for today (it'll be regenerated tonight), but nobody seems to be on your BBS at the moment, so can't really tell if its working or not.

I logged onto my board then logged onto vert, but I did not see alleycat entry in the Inter-BBS list. I did see my alleycat logon to vert in the list.

No, I don't care, really, just a having a gum-shoe moment trying to figure out what may be causing the issue; likely some little non sbbs related thing on my end.

Hi Mortifis, I have the same problem here. I've been trying to figure
out how to fix this and I tried the same test: connect to Vertrauen and
Baffa BBS to check if my user is detected on both. I can detect my login
on Vertrauen from Baffa BBS but I can't detect logged users on Baffa BBS
from Vertrauen :(

but ok... it's cool but it's not a real problem.
