    Im trying to get micronet going. I have everything configured but for some reason when I connect to my hub my system is presenting all my ftn aka's except micronet and thus gets a bad password error. Any ideas on how to get it to present my micronet aka?

    Only thing I can think is to recheck/verify that you have your
    Micronet node number (AKA) listed at:

    SCFG/Networks/Fidonet Echomail and Netmail/System Addresses

    How many AKAs do you have? I have too many, and in my config (I use binkd, not
    BinkIT), I have to set "present-AKA" rules to make sure the right AKA(s) for each link are presented.

    Thats what I had to do for Micronet guess it was the 1 to many.

    Yeah, there's a limit as to how many AKAs that can be exchanged in a handshake,
    so once you hit the limit, you have to pick and choose which ones are sent for each connection.

    So I ended up becoming a NC in Fidonet. Things are working pretty well with one exception. My fido node number is 1:322/762 which was my old number. I am also 1:322/0 .. MY Rc says that when he polls my system its not presenting the AKA 1:322/0 when he connects. Not sure what I have missed in the setup or if its even possible ?? I do have 1:322/0 as my AKA1 node number..

    Thanks
    Craig

    Yeah, it's possible and should work fine. Double check your configuration and log files.

    If you're using BINKit, you need to set up your AKAs in SCFG, under
    Networks ->Fidonet netmail and echomail.

    If you're using a third-party mailer like Binkd or Taurus/Radius/Argus,
    you'll need to set AKAs in the mailer separately.

    Maybe next time just recycle or restart SBBS.
