And Nightfox, in DDReader's internal msg list the 'posted by' is listedas
ANONYMOUS, but the 'posted to' names are still shown.
I didn't see this in the code, but does DDReader have a way that we could specify headers for particular sub boards? Maybe if SMB_SUB_CODE-header.ans or SMB_AREA_CODE is found it is used instead of the regular header.
I thought that's what anonymous meant? Only the 'posted by' would be anonymous?

Well, then you could just reply to that post, view the list of posts and see who posted the one you just replied to - it would no longer be anonymous. :) An area that is flagged as anonymous only would have all posts shown as anonymous when you look at the list so you couldn't tell who posted what.
It's been a while since I've tested my anonymous boards, but I justswitched
to a regular user and...
When I look at my anonymous message areas through the new msglist.js I can see the usernames (both 'posted by' and 'posted to' names), even as non sysops.
