Not sure if this is the right place to be posting this or not, but I'll just assume that it is for now. Has anybody else had issues when trying to backspace either via backspace or ^H manually? When I attempt to do that from within the message body now (as opposed to at the end of the message), it acts like somebody is pressing the Delete key, and if I press Delete instead, it acts as backspace. At the end of a message backspace andmanual
^H work just as they're supposed to, though.through
Not having issues with this kind of behavior anywhere else in the BBS, except for a small bit of issue on a remote system that I connect to
telgate. Just curious as to whether or not there's some sort of an easy fix for this behavior.
Are you using a Mac by chance? You could try enabling the swap DEL/BS option under your user default settings and see if that helps.

It wasn't doing this yesterday, but it is this morning. I am using theICE
version of SlyEdit. Running Linux. This happened to me before. I exited out back to the main menu and the resumed my new search. When I entered another message, it worked fine. Like now.
I noticed that you were typing the bit above which I quoted at the end of the message, and not in the middle of it. I think that's the key difference. ,
I see. I can't get rid of your comma there.
