Is this error coming from sync or the door itself?

Fossil Error #1024 / Shutting Down Door...
Try Door Using Standard COM Port Addressing...

It's for the JNS game Golf Solitaire running on DosEMU w/Linux. I've been tinkering with it and finally got it to work. Thought everything was fine, but then I realized it only works on Node 1. I checked through all the settings and even though there are node specific settings in the door set up it appears to be right.

For those that have it working already I'm calling from sync like this - golf-st /fossil /N%#

I'm just kind of stuck and if I know it's coming from the door I'll keep banging on that or if it's sync maybe I can get some insight there.

I was staring at it for a while before I asked, but there are individual settings that I'm sure helped back in the day for non-standard IRQs and such that I needed to update.

Works fine here. Of course, you didn't list a download location or
version so there's no telling if the version you have is the same as
the version I have.
They're obviously different because there is no /FOSSIL option in mine
and it doesn't take the nodedir as a parameter.

Congratulations. I have taken some single node doors and made them available on other nodes by copying them into sub directories and making them accessible by specific wording in the launch batch files. They share the same high score file. The batch file copies the specific node dorinfo file into these game directory and renames it to dorinfo needed and then delete it on game exit. Works great. It’s fun overcoming a challenge.

Thanks, I figured, but at that point it was displaying what seemed like right before the door was executed, but it was righ after.

When you run GS_SETUP in the Node Configuration Setup you need to make
D:\ the BBS Drop File Path.
You get to enter this after path to doorinfo.dat which I made e:\golfsol
Put NODEDIR as the node environment variable. Then create a batch file
such as golfsol.bat which contains
NODEDIR=%1
GOLF-ST
Then in synchronet call golfsol.bat with the node number parameter.
