    Anybody have step by step or screen shots of how to configure echomail? I've attempted to use the wiki. I think I may be missing area.bbs but not sure how to build it. I have put the nodelist and echolist in the configuration.

    I have been given node number for hobby net and waiting for fsxnet.

    There's a setup script that comes with Synchronet: https://wiki.synchro.net/howto:fidonet

    I was able to figure out how to create the areas.bbs file and that finally allowed me to create the sub-boards. Had to try a few times :-)

    Also had to install binkit.js; all information found in wiki. Guess I just had to read it more than once.

    When I installed binkit. It indicated timed events were configured. Where in the configuration, can I see this to understand when it will poll ?

    So have been able to pull in messages from HobbyNet, will have to give a bit to see if my test/into posts have been published next.

    I would highly recommend that you open up SCFG and go through *ALL* of the options/settings there. You haven't already done that? If for no other reason, it's how you learn what's there and available. I think it will be fairly obvious where the Timed Events are configured, if you do that.

    I was able to figure out how to create the areas.bbs file and that finally allowed me to create the sub-boards. Had to try a few times :-)

    Normally, you create the sub-boards in SCFG *first* and the init-fidonet.js script (described here: https://wiki.synchro.net/howto:fidonet) does that for you by importing an echolist from your hub, automatically. And then SBBSecho is configured by default with AutoAddSubs=true, so no areas.bbs file is needed.

    Also had to install binkit.js; all information found in wiki. Guess I just had to read it more than once.

    init-fidonet.js also automatically installs binkit.js.

    When I installed binkit. It indicated timed events were configured. Where in the configuration, can I see this to understand when it will poll ?

    SCFG->External Programs->Timed Events https://wiki.synchro.net/module:binkit?#binkpoll

    So have been able to pull in messages from HobbyNet, will have to give a bit to see if my test/into posts have been published next.

    Cool. Seems you're doing in the hard way though. :-)
