I got the telnet window to work on a desktop through the web
interface by opening ports 1123 and 11235, on a mobile device i
do not have an option for a virtual keyboard like on your
vert.synchro.net site yet. slowly getting there.
I have checked this module: You're talking about the fTelnet app. Double-check the ftelnet setting in the [web] section of your ctrl/modopts.ini file.
and ftelnet is set to true. I cannot get the connect nor the menu buttons to come up and work on the web page and the telnet windows just shows the synchronet ansi screen and a blinking cursor. the button that reads connect via telnet goes nowhere. should i have other ports open for this? i just have 23 and 8080 open on mine right now. All the other features seem to work fine. Sorry to ask so many questions. I am learning this as I go. I like the web interface it looks good and files and messages work well. just logging in via telnet window is dead. have a good day
figure out how to get the keyboard to come up on tablet or mobile devices now. I have no problem on a pc or laptop, but here is no option for a virtual keyboard showing on my ipad or kindle when i log in on html *web* page of the synchronet remotely. I see it on other bbs's just cannot have
