Began with questions from pre-selected attendees
at event for convicted felon.
It all started out well enough.
But then everything went awry, with the
show taking a turn for the twilight zone.
Two people in audience needed medical attention.
So Donald Trump, being the showman that he is,
and always has been, did what he is trained to do.
He jumped on stage, and told the adoring crowd
not to worry, that he had everything under control -
"Let's not do any more questions. Let's just
listen to music. Let's just make it into a music.
Who the hell wants to hear questions, right?"
You have to hand it to the guy.
He really does know how to work a crowd.
Donald Trump played nine tracks.
That is forty minutes of music.
Including "Ave Maria" - which he conducted.
He danced.
He shook hands with people onstage.
He pointed to the crowd.
Noem (the gal who shoots her pets) stayed right beside him.
Donald Trump stayed in place onstage.
Donald Trump was done answering questions for the night.
