If Norton antivirus wasn't bad enough (and difficult to remove), this happens:

As I understood it, it isn't turned on by default. The user has to turn it on by himself... The user can maybe earn a bit of money with it (after Norton take their cut), but that probably depens on your hardware, and how much you pay for the stuff that comes out of your wall sockets...

    Bye, Wilfred.

People have been complaining that they can't even get their
meager gains. The exchange/transfer fees more than outweigh the
crypto gains. The only monetary winner here is Norton, at the
expense of the gullible user's use and cost of computer
    resources.

If that is the case, it will be short lived, because nobody wil use it, and Norton will loose their good name...

Or.. it will continue as [1] NEW people "discover" Norton for
the 1st time, and [2] "discover" that payouts are futile, [3]
either leave the brand/product in digust, and the cycle
    repeats, see [1].

Meanhile, every individual little crypto gain is Norton's.

Norton can't afford to loose their good name... So they will stop this "service" if it will get too much bad rap...

Apparently not with the general public, otherwise they wouldn't be in business anymore...
