Try:
https://www.artscipub.com/
http://www.rfinder.net/blog/ (pay to play)
http://k5ehx.net/
That came from a Google search using "ham radio repeater list".
Okay - where is a good place to go and get ACCURATE repeater data?

There is the ARRL Repeater Directory (desktop or pocket size edition
or smartphone app), but both cost a pretty penny.
Had a local user say he swears by that book and buys it every year.
I did some research and it's bascially the rfinder site printed out.
I can buy the app for $12.99 and it comes with a one year subscription
to the site, but it still suffers from having to be updated by
SOMEBODY.
I've also decided that people that already have repeater info don't
NEED it so why would they take time to update an online database? I
can get the local ones from local clubs, but I like to program in
out of town repeaters for when I'm traveling...
... This tagline is donationware; send money to register it.

But, there are probably some who think "it updates by itself". That's like these individuals in [insert hobby here] that think [insert event here] happens by itself...setup before, operation during, and takedown afterwards. It's like people want the glory and the benefits...but NO
ONE WANTS the gall and the work involved.
Basically, in life and hobbies, there are too many "takers" and not enough "givers". In short, if you don't put much into a hobby or task,
you shouldn't expect to get much out of it.
I won a Baofeng HT at the Shreveport Hamfest several years ago, but
used it mainly to monitor the Amtrak frequencies, and NOAA Weather
Radio. But, unless I can get some better financial situation soon, my travel outside of central Arkansas is over, forever...ham radio and otherwise.

Exactly! Until you've been in on the planning of any kind of 'event,'
you don't really know what goes on, and the amount of work and
'manpower' it takes!

Agreed!

Hate to hear that. :-(

The ARRL officially gave the responsibility for the repeater direcory to SD>Rfinder so yep, you're right. :D
From what I hear through the grapevine, ARRL is really hurting for
funds and members right now. Most of its active members are my age or older. Folks don't have the money, aren't interested, or because they disagree with a lot of what ARRL is doing, aren't joining, or letting their memberships lapse. Other clubs and organizations memberships, especially for a "Life Membership" are far cheaper than what ARRL
wants.

When people have complained about the way I do nets or other jobs,
when I ask if THEY want to do the work, they instantly backpedal.
He said he nipped that in the bud real quick, when this club member brought up that "the club needs to start and do such and such
activity". A fellow club member, next to the individual making the suggestion, texted the club president "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!".
Well, the president said "Since you brought it up, I gather we can
count on you to head it up, oversee it, and take the responsibility for keeping it going!!". The individual backpedaled in a hurry!! <G>
Q: How do you get an 80 year old woman to drop "The F-Bomb"??
A: Have another 80 year old woman yell "BINGO!!" <BG>
Hello Daryl,
ARRL life membership is cheaper than QRZ.com's or The American Legion's SD>lifetime memberships. I became a lifetime member of the NRA but I was able SD>do that for $600 which was half-off.
The ARRL is our voice in the ITU and that affects everyone.
I don't mind dropping $50 a year on the ARRL. Considering I have my shack SD>its entire contents insured via the ARRL, it's a very good deal for me.
When people have complained about the way I do nets or other jobs, when I ask if THEY want to do the work, they instantly backpedal.
Yep! The hobbies (non-HAM) that I'm involved in though, the people JA>usually know what kind of work goes on behind the scenes, so people
are generally appreciative. :-)

LOL - I love it!

LOL - I will be sharing that one... :-)
... Dijon vu: the feeling you've tasted that mustard before.

You don't find such that often nowadays. While I'm not doing VE
Testing or Nets (my 2 niches in ham radio) for my ego (I've gotten
where I'm on the air usually only for nets that I run, and otherwise, I skip them, due to other things outside of ham radio)...it is nice to be appreciated.
A sad note...found out on the Arklatex D-Star Net last night from
Rick, KA2BSM -- that David, KD4NOQ, from Memphis, became a Silent Key Monday night (not sure if you knew him or not).
He was helping his Dad with his job, so his title became
"son of obituary editor". <BG>
I've noted this before, but it's so true. Only in America...we rush
to beat the traffic lights at intersections...the trains at the
railroad crossings, and the boats at the draw bridges. Yet, we'll stand patiently for 3 hours on a golf course...you figure it out.
One of these days I'll get to a tourney in Little Rock...
Not me! LOL Went golfing ONCE with my brother years ago and my first JA>thought after 9 holes was, 'we've been out here HOW long!?!?'

Drop me a line...maybe we can have an eyeball QSO.
He comes back a few minutes later, and replies "Ain't it a small world??!!" <BG>.
I took a nasty fall in the QTH the other night. I didn't break
anything, but got a bruised right knee, carpet burn, and some minor swelling. It could've been worse...I could've been killed!!

Absolutely!

LOL - that's good!!!
Ouch - yeah, at least you're still alive. :-)
BTW - thx for mentioning the Low Testosterone thing... I read a little JA>more about it and decided to see the doc. Was able to get in this
morning and they drew blood. Should have results Tuesday.
I know we never really hope something is wrong, but I'm kinda hoping JA>that's the cause of some of my 'issues...' Cause then I can get on

Email me at wx4qz at arrl dot net -- that's the fastest way for me to get it. I usually check BBS email only once a day.

I worry about the severe weather threat. We're under an ENHANCED RISK
of severe weather here into Sunday, with an UPGRADE to MODERATE RISK possible. Significant tornadoes, very large hail, hurricane force
winds, and flooding rain, are not out of the question. And, we could
get a repeat performance on Tuesday into Wednesday.

It can lead to a whole host of other problems if not taken care of.

Best to be proactive on ones health. And, once you hit 50, it's time
to start thinking of a colonoscopy.
Just added to my contacts...

Yeah - I'm 52... Probably should do that too...

I have the smartphone up 24/7, unless I'm at the doctors office...so,
I can check email, even if everything else is offline due to thunderstorms.
Well I just took it as a thing of Jesus letting me know through you...
Thanks. I'm looking forward to the day when I'll have a new incorruptible body, that won't have to worry about all this crap. I'm still sore from that fall I took at the QTH last week, and the pressure changes with the weather don't help much.
Yeah - my left knee was injured (like a sprain, but I didn't go to the JA>doc) back at Christmas. Took some time to work it out, then over the last JA>week I must have done something to it again.

You can be so careful, but sometimes, it's not enough.
