  • Spell Check ?

    Greetings All!


    I just want to clarify something with spell check, on my golded setup it highlights mis spelled words correctly. Is that the extent of its capabilities? Or do I have something set up wrong, I was thinking it would suggest a word or something? Its fine if that is all it does, just making sure I am not missing something in the setup.

    You can press alt-s and it will give you a list of possibilities.
    In that menu you can also change the language.
    Normally it will get that right ... but you can change it, if it got it wrong. (naturally only makes sense if you have configured more than one language)

    Sorry to keep troubling you with this, ok I can get the spell check to start with ^s then it lets me select language, but then nothing, it changes the mis-spelled words back to white but no correction or no offer or suggestions of correct spelling..?

    So ^S brings up a window that says "select Language" hit enter get lists of language select english us then what I described above.

    you normally do NOT need to do anything with the language.
    If you selected eg en_us in the golded.cfg.
    No need to touch it.
