Basically just checking the time taken from another point that I have from R4.

But if I am understanding correctly, the TG to FIDO is basically a bot that forwards a chat to Fido, and vice versa?

Yes. You are right.

I'm trying to recall an old gate program which did a similar function between email and FIDO. I believe it was strictly for the Juno email program, and I could never get it to work correctly myself.

I seem to recall though, that the From: on messages coming into Fido never had the person actually sending the email in it. So this is obviously a step up from that.

I noticed on the quoting. Primarily on Wilfred's replies to me. He said it's strange from his view. Nothing has looked different to me though, other than his replies not seeming to assign the correct id tags on the quotes.

Unfortunately, it is not so easy to avoid overclocking when answering from Telegram.

Unfortunately, this is a feature of Telegram messages. They contain the cited message in full. In order to cut unnecessary from it, I will have to create significantly more intelligent software than I planned at the very beginning.
On the other hand, subscribers from Fido's side could cut their email templates a bit for gated conferences, just as they did in the dial-up days.
