Hmm.. not sure why that would be.

Not a problem per se. It's obviously how the bot is written to
handle messages. In this case, when forwarding a message, I
see that there is no point in adding a comment; the original
forwarded message will already have the forwarder's name in the
FROM.

I think the fact that these messages from telegram look like any other message is a good thing.

You could add a "Forwarded from:" line if you wanted to, but these message look good as they are.

--Subj: It`s show time!--

And, the Fidonet header contains by who it is reposted by in

Cool. I used the Reply option, and it appeared as one message in this side - that is why I wondered. All good. It is very good that Telegram "links" the Replies on this side.

This is a message from Fido. They all contain the From field. I'm talking about
messages from other Telegram groups and channels. Now it's done too. You can try it.

Regarding TGUID.. ...when your gate assigns a number for a participant, does the number change when the TG user leaves the group and then rejoins later? (Posting this msg again with a Reply to avoid a post ending up to All).

Gate does not assign numbers. Don't you think that the gate already has more than 1,223,717,052 users? ;)
Unique Telegram identifiers are used, which he uses himself.
