So far I have only been told about:
- SemPoint
- NetMgr (*netmail only)
1. Looks like no one uses SemPoint nowadays.

Sempoint is a superb offline reader. I might still use it from
time to time.
It would be my commendation for new users.

And here is a reply with Sempoint.

Does it work on Windows 10?

I'd think yes. The download page title is literally SemPoint for Windows
10

Do you know of anyone else that uses it?

Can you read Rob Swindell's messages in this echo?
Can you please check if you can read, and reply to, some message from Daryl Stout in FIDOTEST?
Can you read Rob Swindell's messages in this echo?
I don't see any of Rob's recent messages in this BBS, but some older
ones look fine from a QWK packets that I have gleened from another BBS
in the past. Why should there be a difference?
Can you please check if you can read, and reply to, some message
from Daryl Stout in FIDOTEST?
Why would Daryl's messages stand out? All the messages from QWK show
up fine. They are stored in SQUISH format by default and look fine.
Because his messages have "string@z:r/n"-type MSGIDs. Paul
Quinn told me that SemPoint may have issues with those
MSGIDs.
Daryl uses Synchronet so his MSGIDs are like "string@..."
too (and he has recent messages in FIDOTEST).

SemPoint was originally written for 16-bit Windows so
unless it's been rewritten, you'd need Windows 3.1 running
in DOSbox or OS/2 to use SemPoint these days. SemPoint was
a great program.
