not necessary. I do never receive any unwanted echo or other messages.

It would appear that most EU countries may one day meld their local languages into a single Eurpoean langauge.
I was made aware by an immigrant ~20 years ago that there's little variance in some nation states' languages in the eastern
Mediterranean, also.

To an outsider German and Dutch may sound similar, I can assure you
that A Dutch native speaker that has never been confronted with
German, will not understand a native german speaker.
