I was trying to find a sysop the other day and found out he had passed
on a few years ago. It made me think it might be nice to have a Sysop Memorial Wall somewhere, we can list the sysop and the BBS they ran.

Some years ago I already started something like that as a nodelist addendum, remarkable people, giants in their own right. The ZCs at
that time decided against it concluding it was a breach of privacy to which the next of kin might object.
His system is still running. Although it no longer answers incoming
calls, it still delivers mail here. This can become a problem when a
new RC54 takes over.
Other than that I do not think the nodelist is the proper place for it.
It is depressing to be confronted with such a list when one is not
actively looking for it.
Plus that we'd have to include the name of the one who's name must not be mentionded. :(
